Sunday Rapid Reactions

The Sunday after Thanksgiving features the lightest slate of games of the entire NFL calendar. Here are 11 thoughts for the 11 games we saw prior to SNF today:

- Falcons over Bucs 34-20 at home. Top QBs in this game: 1- Matt Ryan, 2- Mohamed Sanu, 3- Ryan Fitzpatrick

- Bengals 30, Browns 16 in the ‘Natti. Teams combined for 6 made FGs. Yeah . . . count me out.

- Titans 20, Colts 16 in Indy. Titans had NEVER won at Lucas Oil Stadium. Not ever. Think about that.

- Bills 16, Chiefs 10 AT Arrowhead! Tyrod out-passed Alex, but Alex out-rushed Tyrod. Fire everybody.

-Pats 35, Fins 17 at Foxboro. I’m truly surprised every time Matt Moore gets outplayed by Tom Brady.

-Carolina 35, NYJ 27 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. McCown had a 109.4 QBR against Cam’s 59.8. So this result makes complete sense.

- Bears lose 31-3 in Philly. Nick Foles completed all three of his passes in relief of Carson Wentz. Thank god!

- Seattle 24, SF 13 in Santa Clara. Jimmy Garrapolo needed less than 90 seconds of game action to record his first TD pass for the 49ers.

- Denver 14 @ Oakland 21. Aqib Talib: 6’1, 205 lbs. Michael Crabtree: 6’1, 215 lbs. Reach is even, but Talib has the “I played at Kansas” chip on his shoulder. Advantage: spectators.

- Rams 26, Saints 20 in LA. Both teams sucked on third down and committed tons of penalties. Road to the Super Bowl in the NFC officially goes through Minneapolis now.

- Cards 27, Jags 24 in the desert. I have often said that Blake Bortles is Blaine Gabbert 2.0, but I think that’s unfair to Blaine Gabbert.
