Wahs was there! Columbus Blue Jackets @ Pittsburgh Penguins 27 December 2017

On Wednesday night (the NHL’s “Rivalry Night”), our buddy Wahs was at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh to see the two time defending Stanley Cup Champions take on a division foe that was seven points ahead of them in the Metropolitan standings. Earlier in the day, ‘Jackets’ coach John Tortorella was asked about the Penguins and replied, “Quite honestly, I don’t like the team.

After his boys blew a 3-1 lead in the third period en route to losing in an overtime shootout, we’re guessing Coach Torts didn’t gain any love for Sidney Crosby and Co.

Check out the two galleries below. The first gallery features shots of the arena and some of the regulation time action while the second features the intense one-on-one battles in the overtime shootout. Thanks for sharing these awesome photos, Wahs!
